In three months today, NaNoWriMo will officially kick off.
I have to admit it's silly but I'm already looking forward to it. Ok, forget about silly, it's downright weird to be looking forward to November at August 1. But there you have it, I'm weird.
I might actually start preparing soon, as well.
Sounds stupid. It's true, though.
And if you are a writer, I bet you went through a phase in your life where you said you are a writer BUT you don't have the time/ the inspiration/ the whatever right now for writing. Which is of course nonsense. You're either a writer, which means you write, preferably every day, or you're someone who claims to be a writer.
I just found this article which addresses the problem of people making excuses for not writing. Read it and get writing. It's easy, just do it.
It's never to early to prepare for the next NaNoWriMo, and today I found this article on injecting your novel with a fresh dose of suspense.
What's one thing that you hope to do or accomplish before the end of this year?
I'd like to have one of my stories published. I had one of my ultra shorts published over at 55fiction on June 30, but I don't count that.
So maybe I should say I hope to have one of my stories published in a paying market.
